FAQ
Answers before you decide
What Skywing does, what it costs, how it works and what we do not promise. Each answer follows our published terms and policies. The questions are grouped into eight topics. Search them, or open one topic at a time. No answer promises an invitation or a job.

What you can find here
The FAQ answers the questions candidates ask before they decide. It has eight topics.
- Eligibility: whether you meet an airline’s published minimum criteria, such as age, height or documents.
- Diagnosis: how the free check works and how the recruitment stages fit in.
- CV & ATS: how to prepare your CV, and the free checklists.
- Services: what each service includes, how long support lasts and which one fits.
- Payments & refunds: how you pay, instalments, currency and refunds.
- Data & privacy: what we collect, who sees it and your rights.
- Technical: the website, languages, accessibility and certificates.
- Airlines: requirements by airline, and what Skywing does not know.

Words about recruitment
- ATS (applicant tracking system): Software that airlines may use to receive, read and sort CVs before a recruiter sees them. Plain layouts are read well; columns, graphics and unusual fonts may be read badly.
- Assessment Day: A day of selection where the airline observes you in person. A typical day has a welcome briefing, a group exercise, individual tasks such as English and reach checks, then interviews, but the schedule differs by airline and event. Recruiters watch how you work with others, not only what you say.
- Cooldown: A waiting period, often 3 to 6 months at Gulf airlines, before you can apply again after a rejection.

Words about Skywing’s services
- Intake: The short form you fill in after you pay: your target airline, your current CV and the other details the service needs. Your support window and the CV delivery clock start only when it is complete.
- Support window: The number of active days a service gives you human support. It starts only after you complete your intake, so no days are lost before you are ready.
- Mentor: A person who prepares you one to one inside a paid service, for example in practice sessions. Skywing checks each mentor's background; mentors do not work for or speak for any airline.
- Readiness Kit: Seven self-study tools that come with your free diagnosis and sit in your candidate dashboard. The kit has no mentor, and Skywing does not sell it as a separate product.
- Skywing certificate: A record that you completed preparation work with Skywing. It is not an airline qualification. Anyone can check one on the certificate checker with its code or the link from its QR code.
