Evidence

What you can check before you pay.

This page explains in plain words how Skywing measures results and what you can check yourself. Each section also says what the evidence does not prove.

How to read this page Each section answers one question: what counts as a result, how we verify what we publish, which figures we show, how mentors and certificates are checked and how airline requirements are dated. Read in order, or open the part you need.

01 / 08Results

What counts as a result

A result is something you can inspect, not a promise of a job. Airlines make every hiring decision, so we never claim one as ours.

What counts

  • A deliverable you can inspect: a reviewed CV, specific feedback or preparation for the stage you were invited to.
  • A requirement shown with its source and the date we checked it.
  • A candidate story published with the person’s consent, its date, the service used and what it does not prove.

What does not count

  • An invitation, a job offer, a visa or a medical approval. The airline decides these.
  • A success rate or a countdown. We publish neither, and we never invent one.
  • An illustration or a sample case written by our editorial team.

Samples are labelled

Where we show an illustration, it carries a visible label such as “Showcase sample”. It is written by the Skywing editorial team, is not a real candidate and claims no outcome. Until real stories are published with consent, the stories page shows none.

02 / 08Verification

How we verify what we publish

Before a story or a figure goes on the site, it passes a check. If it fails, it stays off.

Four checks

  1. Skywing staff confirm the person’s written consent before a real story goes live.
  2. The story shows its date, the service used and what it does not prove.
  3. A figure shows its period, its sample size and its source.
  4. A figure based on fewer than 30 cases is hidden.

Why a story is not proof

Stories give context, not predictions. A story never shows that Skywing caused an outcome, because the airline decides your result.

03 / 08Figures

The figures on this page

We read each figure below from the site’s own rules and data when the page is built. None is a hiring result or a success rate.

Numbers you can check

7Gulf airlines with their own dated requirements page
58criteria tracked across those airlines, each rule set with its verification date
90days after verification before a criterion shows “Verify” instead of a figure
3airlines with a verified full preparation guide; the others get a stage brief
2checks before a mentor profile goes public: identity and aviation employment history
24–48hours: the CV delivery target, counted from complete intake
30minimum cases behind any published result figure; with fewer, we show nothing

We show only real aggregates with a stated period, sample size and source. We hide anything based on fewer than 30 cases.

04 / 08Mentors

How we check mentors

A mentor prepares you one to one inside a paid service. Mentors appear publicly only with their consent, and only after we check who they are and where they have worked.

What we check

Two checks come first. We list a mentor publicly only after both pass, and only if the mentor agrees to a public profile.

  1. Identity: who the mentor is.
  2. Aviation employment history: where the mentor has worked.

How experience is described

Profiles describe experience in plain text, for example “former senior cabin crew, Gulf carrier”. A named airline appears only with the mentor’s written consent and in factual wording.

05 / 08Certificates

How to check a certificate

If someone shows you a Skywing certificate, you can check it yourself with its code.

Three steps

  1. Find the code printed on the certificate, or scan its QR code with your phone camera.
  2. Enter the code on the verification page, or paste the link from the QR code.
  3. Read the result. It says whether the certificate is valid and shows only what the holder agreed to share.

For example SWA-2026-ABCD1234-XY, or the full link from the QR code.

What a certificate is, and is not

Completion certificates carry a code anyone can check. A certificate shows completion of a Skywing programme, not an airline qualification.

  • Not issued, approved or recognised by an airline or an aviation authority.
  • Not a guarantee of an interview, a job offer or any recruitment outcome.

06 / 08Airline facts

How airline criteria are dated

Each airline publishes its own criteria, and they change. We check them against the airline’s public careers pages and show you the date.

How a criterion gets its date

  1. We read the airline’s own public careers pages and note each criterion.
  2. Each airline’s set of criteria records the date we last verified it, with the sources we checked.
  3. The airline page and the comparison table show that date next to the figures.
  4. After 90 days without a new check, the table shows “Verify” instead of a figure, so an old number never passes as current.

Two kinds of criterion

Key terms

Required
A criterion that can end an application if you do not meet it.
Checked by a person
A criterion only a person can confirm, so we never decide it automatically.

07 / 08Independence

Independent from every airline

Skywing is not affiliated with any airline and cannot influence a hiring decision.

What we commit to

  • We do not guarantee an invitation, Assessment Day result, job offer, visa, medical approval or employment outcome.
  • We do not claim confidential access to airline scoring systems. Airline requirements can change, and we say so.
  • If an airline has no Skywing guide, we do not use another airline’s guide or present invented material as verified.
  • Our evidence is limited to material that is safe to publish. We never invent candidate stories.

Questions about airlines and independence

Which airlines does Skywing cover?
Is Skywing affiliated with an airline or a recruiter?
Does Skywing know how airlines score candidates?
Does Skywing list live vacancies or tell me when an airline is hiring?
How current are the requirements on the airline pages?

Start with your own situation

Stories give context, not predictions. The free diagnosis reads your airline, your stage and what has happened so far, then tells you what to work on and what can wait.

What happens when you start

  1. Choose your airline and your stage.
  2. Answer a few questions and skip anything you do not know.
  3. Read your result and decide what to do next.
